First Step Fitness Formula,
- a beginner boot camp.
Maybe you’re overweight or very out of shape, had a previous injury or past medical condition, think you're too old to start exercising or you’re embarrassed about exercising with people who are in better shape than you. No more worries… the First Step Fitness Formula 8-week program is designed to allow you to ease back into exercise and then graduate up to our regular FitNow Boot Camp program.
Why Are We Doing This?
Simply put, don't want people to be discouraged or afraid of exercise. Since 2011, FitNow Boot Camp has offered fitness boot camp classes for people of all levels. But, there are some people that still struggle and don’t come back after the first workout our give up after attending just a few classes. They get frustrated because they can’t do certain exercises like Burpees, pushups, sit-ups or even jogging in place. Or, they can’t battle through the soreness that goes along with working muscles that haven’t been challenged in awhile. They needed something easier to start with; something more “doable”.
This is your 8-week introduction back to health and fitness. Over 24 30-minute sessions, you’ll learn how to properly perform basic strength and cardio exercises that will allow you to safely progress and make gradual improvements to your strength, power, and endurance. We'll also teach you basic fitness nutrition practices that will help you properly prepare for and recover from your workouts.
If you or somebody you know is interested in our upcoming Basic Training program, we’ll be accepting 14 clients our Westfield gym. We are limiting the number of participants so that we can focus more individualized attention within the group setting in an effort to keep everyone safe.
